The client approached me with the task of designing a website for long-term premium apartment rentals in Berlin. The primary goal was to create a minimalist, user-friendly, and intuitive interface that emphasizes elegance and exclusivity. High-quality photographs of the building and apartments were to be the focal point, with minimal use of animations.
At the initial stage, I conducted an analysis of competitors and the target audience’s needs to create a design concept that combines minimalism, functionality, and a premium feel.
The focus was on delivering a seamless user experience. The website features a clean and straightforward structure with minimal distractions. High-quality photographs of the apartments and building take center stage, enhancing the overall aesthetic. A modern, lightweight font was chosen for the text to reinforce the premium impression.
A standout feature of the website is an interactive map of Berlin. It allows users to view nearby establishments, key infrastructure (such as schools, restaurants, and transport hubs), and plan routes from the apartments. This element was designed in a visually minimalist style to align with the rest of the design.
During the project’s development phase, I collaborated closely with the development team, providing guidance on implementing the design, integrating the custom map, and optimizing the site for various devices.
The website became a valuable addition to popular booking platforms for apartments. Thanks to its intuitive interface, high-quality visual content, and functionality, the number of apartment reservations significantly increased. The modern design emphasized the premium nature of the apartments and offered users a seamless and comfortable browsing experience.
